"It was in Karmina of 907 that these terrible events were witnessed by me. The
area where these unspeakable events happened was in the south of Desolathya.
At that time two different scourges raced through the lands with the angel of
death at their side. The first of these terrors appeared many many many years
ago for the first time, the local inhabits started calling "it" by the name
"Öar", in common tongue this might also be pronounced as "Yar". The signs and
sounds that Öar was coming could be heard from some distance. You could hear
him coming many meters before you could see him, by the sound of ghastly and
melancholic music that started sounding before his arrival. The music he
played was kind of like the music bards play, but with a very scary sound and
the instruments giving out a dark and gloomy tune. Letting out dark music is
not a crime, but murdering the people who hear it is! Where Öar wandered first
came the dark music then the anti-bard himself and swiftly after also death.
Some people say that when Öar stated his bloody deeds he would wield a strange
ceremonial dagger and start chanting in an ancient lich-language an old
lich-prayer roughly translated as "last rites". But this has not been
confirmed. Nor can it be confirmed if Öar thruly is of the Lich kind. His face
always seems to be covered by a hood that radiates shadows and darkness. Öars
fondness for murder had no limits. The dagger would swing against humans,
animals and creatures alike, none were spared. One sickening thing Öar did
after the murders was leave the head of the victim on the ground on the site
of the crime. It is hard to describe in detail anything about Öar, not many
survived after hearing the music and his face could never be seen. I survived
by sheer luck with a desperate try of "vole love velo levo" just before I
encountered Öar (I heard the music a few meters away behind a corner of a
building). Öar still haunts the area? As I mentioned there were two scourges
in the same lands, there was Öar, but he was not the only on
e. The other was called "Tåålkvuun". Or "Tolkvon" in common tongue. Now
"Tåålkvuun" is easy to describe. He is an orc, a very vile looking orc. Some
detailed description are: Wearing a crown that made his head bleed, wearing a
shiny silver battle suit, weapons of crime were two big axes emitting a dark
shine, maybe made of dark alloy? But he most frightening thing about Tåålkvuun
was his mount. The mount was? how can I call it? A true hell-spawn! It
resembled a humongous chimera but not of the living kind. It must have been
one of the beasts of Tzarakk. And if so Tåålkvuun must have been a slave of
the beast master Tzarakk. Tåålkvuun also decimated anything with a pulse. I
survived an encounter with Tåålkvuun only because he wanted a witness for his
atrocities and some one to further spread fear of his arrival. Many times
after the killing Tåålkvuun would whisper ?That I have set free, return to me?
and his undead mount would feed on the corpse of the victim. It is said that
Tåålkvuun called this unholy mount with a name "Varnija" ... The strange thing
is (these are rumours) that both Öar and Tåålkvuun spread death and terror in
the same areas and villages and their paths crossed many times, but they never
fought each other. Some say that Tåålkvuun would sometimes stop to listen to
the gloomy sounds Öar was playing, some even say that the tunes seemed to
enhance Tåålkvuuns powers? The only place where these monster never attacked
anyone or anything was in the city of "harmony". But when the citizens of
harmony got a hint that the monsters or one of them was coming, they fled into
hiding knowing of the dark deeds they had done in other parts of the land.
Thus not many people from harmony can not give better insight on Öar or
Tåålkvuun. Its is unknown why they visited harmony so often and why they let
the city be. Some say the visits might have something to do with the ancient
crystal that has been in the city's central square for eons. One peculiar
thing Tåålkvuun often did was collect the heads of Öars victims -
that Öar had left behind - and put them on display tied to his mount. And
then bring these heads to the city of harmony and throw them at the door of
the general shop. Maybe it was one of Tåålkvuuns terror-tactics or maybe he
had made a pact with Öar of collecting Öar victims heads and show-casing them
around the southern lands? Now it seems that only Öar roams these lands.
Tåålkvuun has not been seen for awhile ...But there are rumors of a savage
barbarian landing in this continent. The whispers say the name "Tcol"....This
is a historical note and a record, but also a warning notice! If you see the
above mentioned signs or names you must start runing as fast as you can away
from them, or risk facing one of the Grim reapers mortal servants"
