They woke up and realized they are in a completely different place - a huge
and very dark cave.
The vague memories of a fight they had.. with spirits? And the pain in their
heads.
- How did we end up here?
- I recall some kind of script, that we found there.
- Yes, the script. Who read the words?
- I did, and then... Everything seems blurred, until now.

They examined the cave in detail, trying to turn back, but there was only one
way,
further into the caves. The fog was everywhere, so
After some healing rituals, they decided to use protection against evil
creatures.
Moving slowly and carefully, they went deeper and deeper into the cave.

At some point, they approached a room with a HUGE north wall. It made of black
marble.

- STOP. What is this?
- Marble wall... And no other exit?
- We need to look closer, I doubt this is a dead end.

They started to examine the wall, and after a while when they were about to
give up...

- Woah! It moved!
- WHAT did you do! Draw your weapons!
- Nothing! Nothing! I was just stretching..

The wall moved and revealed another exit, but they could not see clearly due
to the fog.
The group continued the journey into the caves. The walls started glowing with
some eerie light.
The fog started getting thicker, so they could not see properly.

- Look! There north from us!
- Holy Avellas, what is it?
- Let me scout it. Wait here, and stay alert!

They stood in combat formation, waiting for their companion.

- The gates! HUGE gates! And the demon statue! - he yelled.
- There is a sign too, let me try to read it.
- "Do not enter... " Signed by some Cain folk. I am not able to read the rest
of it.

They approached at the gates, to discuss what to do next.

- Cain..? I think I remember this name. Wasnt it master of Necropolis?
Forbidden place!
- Yeah. It also holds some treasures, I bet.
- Dwarves and the treasures. Don't you have enough?
- There is never "enough" when it comes to treasures! *Burp*
- Alright alright. We came this far, I could use some extra cash as well.

The discussion took longer than expected. Eventually, the elusive treasures
won and so
they kept moving forward, deeper into the necropolis.
Blinded by the promise of a prize, they recklessly tried to cross the huge
gates.
The second they stepped into the gates, the statue of the demon woke up...

The demon growled 'YOU WILL ALL DIE, THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING!!!'

- Noooooooooooo! Formation!
- The evil protection auras drop very soon! We are doomed!
- Don't waste time talking, KEEP fighting!

The demon was huge and very powerful. Each blow hit with a cracking sound,
disrupting casting.
Unfortunately, they didn't prepare properly for the fight, so their protective
spells were about to drop.
Luckily, they had a nun among them so at least their souls were still under
protection, just refreshed.

- Tanks, keep shield wall on! I feel our auras growing weaker!
- It doesn't take mana! I can't harm this minion of evil!
- Mages! Try acid blasts! Nun, swap to healing!

The fight continued, they use all their strength and tricks to dodge the
demons attacks.
Mages managed to harm the beast, dealing a lot of damage.
Mana reserves were looking good, healers doing a great job. It would seem the
fight was on their side.
Until the guardian demon started chanting...

- BREAK IT! Break the chants!
- How!? Lure fails, I tried. I can't fool it!
- Healers, heavy heals now! Chain it, don't save on your mana!

Then, just after the command, the demon finished the chanting...
Guardian demon filled up his cheeks with air and exhaled 'krkx mar nak grttzt
gnatlnamauch'.
The killing cloud hit the weak spot. Unprotected, all backrows went instantly
unconscious,
not being able to recover, and leaving tanks in a near-death state.
Front row desperately tried to fight back, not leaving their companions
behind...
The fight didn't last much longer, as a second killing cloud wiped out the
party.
The demon feasted on their souls and immediately turned back to stone.
