He who perceives the hidden secrets of inner peace If it is written for you/meant to be, over any length of time, unseen destiny/fate will find its way to you despite all obstacles -1- We must embrace Time, resting upon the dust of our bodies And let the soul's self-reproach/nafs al-lawwama burn out it's full force Enfolding with peace the spirit at last finding home We become the truth We guide the soul toward the light Guard your soul and guide it to what makes it bright***IA You will live in peace untouched by shame**IA leave behind what does not serve our noble purpose our purpose is to become/transform the soul into the light -2- we tread on the independent path of wandering and wondering on the Journey the Soul towards the Mirror of the innermost Self We tread upon hardships and We do not bow our heads unchain yourself from the pitch black of your darkness He who travels alone seizes and mounts the dawn (starts right away) And he who takes a companion is delayed by waiting for him to be ready -3- We yearn to polish the ash/dust From the Mirror of our dark/shadowed Souls gently we permit light to enter the eye of the nafs It polishes and reveals clarity on our Mirror radiating the brilliance of a full moon in a dark night shining across the silver depths of its starry sky meeting a sincere friend is never in vain or by chance-khalil gilbran rather it is the decree of Destiny written in eternity. and more precious than a treasure is the meeting of a soul that sees what is hidden with its light and comes with strong resolute strength to pull you out of the darkness
