I am creativity..I spark your imagination to write and to put pen to paper.
If you wish to find me you have to travel to places in your imagination and be
bold enough to reach out and accept what you may find there.
It is a colorful and sparkling place on most days.
A place filled with wishes and dreams. A lifetime of experiences.
A writer must use his well of ideas, hopes, dreams, disappointments and
hearthaches to create something truly beautiful. Dear Reader, my story is
about a young girl that tried to do just that but, alas, she sang a song no
one wanted to hear...... I will call her Lilly. Lilly is tall and willowy. A
sweet, beauty with long golden hair, the color of wheat. Her eyes are the
color of blue sapphires, her smile could grace any room. She is kind and
happy and she is full of fire and spice. She wishes more than anything to be
among young people but she is locked in her room with her pen and paper.
As she stares out the window, she takes a trip in her imagination to the
places she wants to visit. To Rome, to Paris, to Italy, to Milan, to Brazil,
to Ireland, to Africa....anywhere but in her dull, dreary room. She tried to
break down the door, break the windows...the locks were too tight. She
screamed and screamed but no one heard her. She finally broke the window
jumped out and fell to the ground. A bit unconscious, a bit bruised, but she
was free. Free at last! The first thing that Lilly wanted to do was get away
and go to all the places she dreamed about... she did not care if she had to
beg, borrow or steal to get there. borrow or steal to get there. She knew she
would. She had a burning passion inside of her to get to her destination.
Lilly spent many hours by the docks just waiting for a chance to stow away on
one of the ships. She did not care where it was going. She knew that no
matter where it was going, it was a leap of faith that she would be happy
there. She would be fine. She needed so desperately to get out of her prison
of a life and pursue her passion in life. She jumped aboard the ship without a
second thought and never, never looked back... Lilly is smiling the widest
most wonderful smile that has ever graced a woman ever born. She is happy, she
is creating, she is living again! This is Lilly's story, she is a bold,
courageous woman. She has no regrets, no sorrows, no fears...she can now write
boldly and creatively because her imagination propelled her to take a chance
and leap into her future. A future with hope and promise and joy...Lilly is a
flower of wonder and passion...a wonderful testimony to courage..
