I've been a sprite since I fist existed over three years ago... I started out
as a sprite shaman...now I'm a sprite mage in the new system...thank god we
finally got arms too... as a sprite, I have been killed for no reason other
than idling in a room with someone...sprites are not all thieves...no matter
what reputations some sprites are making..I will never be a thief myself, and
anyone who generalizes sprites a 'thief' race is wrong. I like the advantage
of learning my spells quickly...I enjoy not worrying about water, or invisible
thieves...I like not needing as much food as other races, and I can live with
140 hps, and a lesser int than the average mage classes...I'm a sprite because
thats what I am...I am a mage because that is something sprites do well that
doesnt anger players... so, in all remember, love your friendly sprites :-)
ps..we can wield weapons now, but not anything very big, trust me fighting is
still right out as a sprite thief...I am a sprite mage, and can do more with
the average forked lightning that an equal level sprite thief could do with
any skill, and I still get my 140hp but kicked a lot :-)
