(standard) (standoff) (special) (missile) | : A A T A 12345 .....0 .....1 .....2 .....3 .....4 note: Personel aren't placed in row 0, it's just a placeholder for symbols. 'm' and 'c' are the medical and communication/command officer. (anti-cavalry) || TAAT mc Special troops are armed with flail and shield, standoff with long spears. Placed up front to stop cavalry charges. (assualt) A||A AA mc Standard personel should use shields, and standoff large polearms. A mixture of offense and defense, but no missile troops. (crane) || AAAA mc Used for penetrating enemy lines. The job of the standard troops is to defend the polearm-wielding troops at close range, not to rush forward and engage. They should stay even with the standoff troops. When part of a line, the commander and the medic should replace either of the standard troops if it becomes necessary. This formation can quickly be changed to an assualt formation and back by simply moving the standard troops forward (and then back again). (mixed) | TAA: cmA A multi-use unit, it performs okay in most situations and relatively, has no great strengths or weaknesses. Can be quite effective if personel are trained well enough to work together effectively.
