Shar, you make some good points in #398 and #399. While I'm aware of some
issues already, I'll address some possible changes here:

1) I'm totally aware that the risk vs. reward sucks right now. The crew are
highly genericized and tuned to shit, and I've been discussing a solution to
this with an Archwizard. It may be necessary to adjust the limit to which the
mobs get tuned. With regards to the loots and coins, yeah...I'll fix the loot
tables someday, but probably not in the next month or two unless I get bored.
I'll scale the cash a bit better, split the coins up a bit, and add some new
and more interesting loots.

2) Grappling is very overpowered at the moment. I haven't touched the grapple
check formula lately, but I haven't decided 100% what direction I want to take
with it yet. The issue I'm wrestling with is finding something that doesn't
turn class 6 ships into sumo wrestlers who can piledrive anyone into
submission.

3) I'm glad to see that someone is trying to use another method other than
ramming. I'll uptune cannon and assault magi damage.

4) When trying to match a ship's speed...not sure what your issue is here.
Have you heard of the 'pursue' command? It's supposed to do just that.

5) I can add a toggle to have your ship match their height. It's very
low-priority though.

6) Don't expect much of me until probably May. It's nearing the end of the
semester and I have some 40-50 pages of criminological research to write up in
addition to a research proposal due in 2 weeks. I downloaded this nifty to-do
list software that Darol told me about, hopefully it helps me keep track of
things and get shit done faster, I dunno...

Yeah, I had this pointed out by a few mortals, guess I was a bit unclear. I
was refering to a situation when I'm fleeing away from a pursuing ship and
want to keep shooting distance instead of cruising out of reach. I got around
this one on my own though, with commands to cruise around in circles.
