BatMUD has been restored to 08.04 noon boot due to crash. To compensate the loss of exp, the upcoming birthday weekend (14-15.04) will yield double exp with no tune.

B.A.T. ry board meeting approved the Steam-release of BatMUD. Our target for publicizing through Steam is next month (during May, 2018). Due to the commercials related to our Agreement with Steam, acquiring the game client through Steam will have to carry a small fee. Steam will feature player settings/configurations/triggers traversing (saving) automatically through all available Platforms (Windows/Linux/Mac/SteamOS), utilizing Steam Cloud functionalities. Otherwise, our existing plan is to aim for feature parity with the release.

The realm shakes as a massive eruption blackens the skies; fire and brimstone hails down in a fiery torrent as the Wizard known as Gorgar ascends the immortal ladder to the rank of an Augur. We can only wait in anticipation for further displays if his sublime conjurations and cunning crafts. Congratulations!

Tireless tinkering with gnomic apparatuses elevates Kharadus to a Wizling. Either that, or the blessing bestowed by the College of Wizards.

Batclient executables have been made available at http://www.bat.org/play/batclient for Windows and Linux platforms (both, as 64bit and 32bit now for Linux!). Mac version should follow suit tomorrow. If your Batclient 'expires', please download it anew from the website.

Some people just don't seem to get it. Robotting is still not allowed. Nu-uh. Without naming anyone, and especially not claiming their name would rhyme with Zlink.

The Warlock known as Merc continues to show considerable prowess in the art of Wizardry and has attained the rank of Adept -- who knows what potential magicks still remains untapped in this promising individual. Congratulations!
