Larger crossbows have bows made from flexible metal, too strong for even an
ogre to pull back with one hand. Some, like the medium crossbow, have a
stirrup at the end, so you can hold the crossbow in place with one foot while
cocking the crossbow with both hands. Others, like the heavy crossbow, require
a special winding mechanism. Firing these weapons quickly in battle is just
about impossible, but the bolts hit with amazing force when they are launched.
