The most common request outsiders give to rangers, is to hire a guide to lead them when traversing the wilderness. Rangers have, over the years, blazed many trails in the wilderness that are only visible to those trained in the art of pathfinding. Either leading a large company, or traveling alone, this allows them to save much time and effort while traveling, making them excellent guides and runners.

This skill is both automatically used when moving about, and also used actively.

Syntax: use pathfinding at <location> use 'pathfinding' <location>

This will make the ranger calculate a path from one location to another and then lead his/her party through the woods to the desired destination.
