Knights are careful and deliberate fighters, placing higher value on accuracy than brute strength. This skill is an example of the knight's philosophy, allowing the knight to use any one-handed slashing weapon (axe, sword, anything will do) to land a blow more reliably than the wild swings of the barbarian or ranger, although at the expense of some damage. Skill with the weapon used is essential, and larger, clumsier weapons will miss more often but cause more damage. Note that some weapons work better against some creatures than others.
