Wands are the simplest form of enchanted items, items that store magic inside them for later use. While these are relatively simple compared to artifacts crafted by gods or the like, they are not simple at all. Nasty consequences can befall those who attempt to use items such as wands with no knowledge of the type of magic that allows wands to hold and discharge spells. While some say that using wands is as simple as pointing a finger, those who are not familiar with wands and attempt to use them can bring about disastrous results. Carrying one wand is always safe, when carrying more wands the skill zapping will help pointing out when you are pushing your luck too much.
