While strategy is an important aspect in successful warfare, there is something that can never be entirely replaced with premeditated plans. That is tactics on the combat field. Rapidly changing conditions require a commander who will make the right decisions without hesitation and most of all, does it very quickly. Using rapid maneuvering, a great commander is able to guide his entire army by yelling them orders and therefore help them complete their tasks quickly. The disciplined people are also known to be more prone to follow orders of the commander.
