The most powerful reavers have reached an ascended philosophy on the subject
of destruction. To them, it is no longer about the strength of their arm or
the sharpness of their blade. It is not even about knowing when or where to
strike. The will to destroy comes from within, from the dark energy that
throbs in the heart of every reaver, and needs only to be let out. By drawing
upon this power, the ascended reaver can use his or her skills to strike blows
that shatter shields and rend flesh while using a weapon as seemingly
ineffective as a broken stick.
