Ancient folktales speak of water lilies as symbols of rebirth. Druids
cultivate these sacred flowers in hidden ponds, believing they guide souls
peacefully back into the natural cycle of life. The clerics of Oxtoth follow a
darker path. Rather than returning souls to nature, they use fresh corpses as
vessels for forbidden rituals of reanimation, binding lingering spirits back
into dead flesh. To druids, this is a corruption of rebirth itself. Yet the
followers of Oxtoth claim that decay is simply another form of transformation,
and that true power lies in defying death.
