The word of spite is a useful tool for reavers of all kinds. With but a simple word, the caster smites the target with any latent jealousness, bigotry, and bias within his black heart, which tears at the victim's soul. However, a far more important reaction also takes place. As the reaver uses this spell on more and more creatures of a specific race or type, insight into that race or type is used to cause greater effect for the word of slaughter. Creatures resistant or immune to probing effects may be resistant or immune to word of spite.
