Many warriors keep their prized possessions safely guarded, by thick doors, watchmen, traps, and, when called for, magic. If that prized possession happens to be a living creature, then even more care is taken. This spell guards a mount or similar beast of burden, making it more resistant to all forms of attack, and also allowing it to recover from damage faster than it normally would.
