This spell tells you the number of rooms east,west,north,south you must travel to get to a location memorized by location memory. You may also use a player as the target, and if the player is on the globe, it will tell directions to the player. It shows you straight line calculation, which doesn't navigate around mountains, but it is possible that you will get ground-based path which would avoid those pesky mountains.
