Well, I managed to procrastinate another weekend away without reincing. I had
a couple of opportunities, but I decided I would rather take a nice afternoon
nap than dealing with a reinc. But fear not, I will soon be undergoing that
tortorous process to a silly civ. reinc I've been plotting out for a while
now. I keep hoping for a freebie reinc if the new loc guild ever gets into
the game.

Otherwise, I thought I would take a crack at the 10 min. blogging routine.
Usually when I blog here, it has been more of a documentation process of what
happened in the time period since the previous entry or when I feel a bit
over-emotional (emo ya'all) and need to get it out of my system. A nice
little release, like screaming where no one can hear you. So, I read a couple
places that 10 min. a day goals for blogs just to be free-form and I thought,
hey, I can do that. You'll have to forgive my conversational English these
posts will take, as it is easier to type how I think rather than put it into
something that wouldn't flunk me out of basic English 101.

Observation of the day, have you ever noticed how old people drive slowly by a
cemetary? I'm not looking forward to the time when I'll be confronting my
imminent mortality. The other thought that popped into my head the other day,
it is sad how adulthood has taken away from my enjoyment of my free time. I
keep thinking "I should be doing something more important than this". As a
child, those thoughts never crossed my mind as I went outside and just did
nothing of importance. I just need to let go a little.

Getting close to beating "Kingdom Hearts" on the PS2 (see previous note about
free time). I'm pretty disappointed with the game based on the reviews I saw
when this game came out. Control is with the analog stick only, so my thumb
cramps running around, and the camera is a bigger opponent than the monsters.
The boss battles are weak, so far my winning strategy is let my AI controlled
partners Goofy and Donald Duck go and whack while I hide away and heal, or
rush in while the boss is grinding up my partners and do damage. One of the
few games I'm rushing through to end rather than explore and enjoy. Next game
up, X-men Legends. I'm avoiding playing a couple of the long RPG's (Xenosaga,
Aetelier Iris, Suikoden) until I get some of the "faster" titles out of the
way I have picked up used lately.

Ok, time's up for the day. Say, this isn't so bad. Since no one but Boot and
Anastasia and Banba (as far as I know) read my blogs, hope you don't my blog
experiment. I have a feeling these entries won't be too "insightful" for the
most part, but at least it is regen fodder. --Roger
