Missed yesterday due to me tinking far too late into the evening with the new reinc. I have mixed opinions about the reinc. I definitely miss having mana control due to not having enough bard levels. And the knight quests are rather....interesting. I'm slowly working towards getting three out of the four guild aspects (rep) to minimum levels so I can train/study everything the guild has to offer. I'm having a rough time trying to do the valor aspect of the guild due to no capability of solo-tanking and not enough time to put a party together. Also, waiting on a friend to whack for me Hannes so I can get that tome to complete the knowledge aspect. Did the skills aspect yesterday. Conduct is coming along slowly, a few more days and with some lucky resets of batcity mobs, maybe I can max it (or get to another level). Knight offensive skills pretty much blow for the dam/ep ratio. Only one worth a crap so far is turnblade, and that only rocks vs larger mobs. Since I can't stun at will, skullsplitter is useless. I haven't had enough conduct yet to try all of the mount stuff, and I need valor to experiment with the defensive skills (naturally). Jury is still out on whether I will do a reinc back into civ. again for the knight/cavalier/bard combo. I'll keep posting on what I discover. And I still need to get cracking on the ship stuff and chest making stuff. I want to make a 12 slotter for the first time this reinc. So, that's the goals for this current reinc: figure out knights to see if I want to do another reinc, figure out ship stuff, and do a 12 slot vault. Wish me luck! So far, the townies that I found that give conduct: fortune teller, pedlar, raconteur, nun, and wench if male and high cha. I'll keep posting if I figure out any more. Also did rustie last night in a 3 man party. Cleared my screwed up valor (finally went positive for the first time). Of course, I lost that single point later on the evening by still being in the party and killing a smallish mob. Gah, I HATE this valor system. Puttered with take prisoner, and found it to be annoying near useless even against tiny mobs. I tend to gash the mobs to death long before mobs decide to surrender. Have I mentioned how much I hate valor yet today? Tomorrow, back to boring posts of my real life. Today's entry brought to you by Taco John's Potato Oles and my hatred for valor in knight guild.
