Well, it would seem my curse has continued into today.  While re-installing
visual studio 6 and the visual studio service pack 6, I got some dll corrupted
that caused my pc to reboot as I logged in.  The IT support person fortunately
could log in without my problems.  Turns out, the virus scan software was what
got corrupted and would crash on me.  Lovely.  So, he nuked off my old profile
and a new one was loaded that fixed the issue.  Unfortunately, that also nuked
off a few hours of getting my set-up to where I liked it.  *sigh*  Tune in
tomorrow, I'm sure somehow my monitor will catch fire next.

Last night I was lifting with a buddy at the gym.  By dumb luck, we were using
a machine next to the one being puzzled over by a cute gal.  This gal then
looks over and asks me how to use that particular machine.  So, I showed her
how to use it and then bashfully went back to my machine.

Four hours later...

Holy crap, I could have actually chatted with her.  You know, like make small
talk and get to possibly know her name.  Good grief, I'm such a thick-headed
moron.  Well, if there is ever a next time, hopefully I'll recognize the
situation and be more personable.  I'm sure I appeared like a total
disinterested goof with a soft voice.  In my defense though, she was cute!  I
was just happy to be helping her out.  

Hooray for rain!  Had our first rain storm of the year, that should take care
of some of the frost in the ground and help with our dry situation.  We are
going to need a lot of spring rains this year to get caught up.  Well, that's
