Not much to report tonight. Met with the customers from Spain today for 2 hour meeting. It is always interesting trying to talk technical to someone whose native language is not English. At least the one system engineer had a pretty decent grasp of English. It was fun listening to their conversational Spanish, and not being able to interpret it. On the other hand, I could partially translate the Spanish. Just goes to show, conversational language is 10 times harder to learn than proper language. Err...correction, partially translate the engineer's written Spanish. Damn, I hate this stupid editor. Rainy day blues and my darn eyelid keeps twitching all day long. I just want this day to end so I can go home and eat a nice supper and try to continue to adjust to daylight savings time. Bah, at least the weekend weather is looking good. Oh yeah, I got my 5 year service catalog. At my job, at 5 year intervals, you get a catalog to pick out one free piece of overpriced junk as a gift. I'm hoping I can find something that I can ship off as an X-mas gift to a family member. I haven't looked at the catalog yet to know. So, this means I'm fully vested in a pension fund that's about to freeze (and will prolly go away long before I'm retired.) Hooray for me! Time for the gym.
