Ok, getting a jump on the blogging tonight since I was very bad and missed a couple nights last week. And just what was I doing last week? Weeeelll, I just happened to be working on a couple more ship quests. In fact, the cannoneer quarters quest forced me to leech onto a 5 man party to get the items I needed to complete that quest. Note to Melemkor, I hate that quest very much, thank you. Fortunaely, it is one of a couple quests that arequire a party to help the merchant complete. I have one more to do here in the near future (speed quarters) quest, and the third, I've managed to sneak around behind parties to get some of the materials needed. Tell you what though, the quests may be hard, they are rewarding once you figure them out and complete them. I will be glad to get 'em done though, I'm pretty much bored of this reinc already. If I had full bards or cavalier guild levels, this reinc would be neat, but alas, knights alone isn't very good for offense or for soloing for that matter. Once I get all ship quests completed and upgrades done, I'll be reincing out and back to loc-tiger or knight-cavalier-bard. Otherwise, work has been dead slow the past week. Still working with the coders on a nasty lock-up bug. Also supporting a customer on a radio integration. Most of that time is spent on the phone for tele-cons. I think if things don't pick up by end of Sept, I'll be looking for a new group here at work. I just don't see much work after that time period. Then, last week my Win XP box here at work decided to corrupt IE and the internal network messenger. Help desk tried a few things which didn't fix the issues, so I ended up getting my PC wiped, again. So far, I can't get ClearCase to reinstall correctly. *sigh* Lord only knows how much other stuff is going to go wrong here in the next weeks as I have to reinstall all of my development and support software. At least I'm getting a lot of stuff done on the weekends. We finally had our first warm spring weekend of the year. Temps were in the low 70's and sunny. On Saturday, I helped the roomie cut and put up 1/2 in. plywood in his garage to wall up the insulation. That took a good chunk of the day. We then puttered around cleaning up the garage, taking care of other outside house maintenance. Sunday, I mowed and then raked the back yard. That took over 3 hours. The weather was so nice, I really didn't mind the work. The only downside was the neighbor's dogs constantly barking at me if I were to rake anywhere close to the fence between us. By 1:30 roomie and I headed out for a late lunch at the mall. We cruised the mall checking out the gaming store. I didn't see anything I had to have so we headed out to cash in our pop bottles and buy some much needed groceries and supplies. By the time we got home, it was 4pm and we decided to go on a bike ride before some light showers were to hit our area. After an hour of riding on trails and back streets, we cruised home. Upon our arrival, my roomie found out he could get a free chest freezer, so we borrowed a friend's pickup and headed over to grab that. So by 8pm, we had the truck returned, the freezer in place in the garage, and were crashed out in the living room. So no, I didn't head out much except for Sat. evening church, which really isn't that much of a social activity. But man, I feel like I got a lot accomplished. And oh yeah, my rump is still hurting from hitting all of those street cracks yesterday. My bike is an older 10 speed, so it doesn't have those nifty shock asbsorbers. Yes, I'm getting weak in my old age. So, that's about all I know at the moment. Hopefully I can find time this week to get the speed magi party put together and get that quest out of the way. After that, it leaves lift and assault quarter quests that I know of. Oh yeah, forgot about mentioning teleporter quest. Evil Shin. and Mel working together for a quest is almost unfair. And I got lucky with having a conj. friend and some major_heal potions chested for the defense quest. So yeah, I'm starting to really knock these quests off. Woo Woo!
