Captain's Log, Supplimental Stardate 21910.03: Today I have been forced to start writing a "blog", by Dino, he has an odd obsession with wanting me to publish my thoughts and plans and life stories, well who can blaim him, if I was not me I would be obsessed with me too. But anyways, I do not like the term 'blog' I make it my business to use internet slang as RARELY as possible, internet slang strikes me as something someone's mom would say when she has a limited base of knowledge about computers, around the point when a person can basically only use Email, Websites, and Word Processing. Slang in this general regard seems to be picked up by those who are just learning, as they hear it in "the air". When slang become so common that it is considered the appropriate term for whatever it describes that means it is too common, a good rule of thumb (I'll tell you where that phrase came from some day), is to watch the news, and whatever slang the anchor uses, avoid it. If you hear them say "the net", "surf the web", "cyber-(anything)" do not use it any longer, it has become lame and uncool, much like many other things.
