I know, I know, just why haven't I been blogging lately? Well, I blame part of that on YouTube and getting caught up on the Naruto episodes. I also blame part of it on my workload picking up with the end of the fiscal year coming. And some part of it is that I've been a bit distracted of late with my housing situation. Let me explain. My roomie, and house owner, has a sister that lives in town. She recently decided to get a divorce, so she needs a place to stay every other week. So guess what, she crashes at the house. At about the same time, roomie starts dating, and the woman is now constantly staying over night as well. So, I go from one roomie, to three practically overnight. If it were guys, it wouldn't be such a change, but having women around means life is more tricky. No longer am I running around in t-shirt and old shorts. Television selections are now much more difficult to agree upon. The girlfriend doesn't like to watch news for instance, and both women want to watch reality crap shows. As an added bonus, neither women are contributing financially, so I get to partially pay for the experience of having them over using the utilities and eat the food. All in all, my happiness meter has lost several bars. Now I stay at the gym later and later so I get home in time to grab some food, watch some news, then go to bed so I don't have to be around the herd as long. I can get along with the sister much better than the girlfriend. So far the girlfriend and I just aren't clicking very well. So I'm back to house hunting in case this relationship looks like it is going to be serious. Fortunately the housing market is starting to look like it is turning into a buyer's market. I'm researching now, and waiting for something nice to turn up. Besides the deteriorating home situation, my gym situation has me stalemated as well. I can't seem to drop any more weight the past few weeks. A friend recommended that I change up my cardio routines. So, I'm going to start incorporating rowing machine and straight up jogging on the treadmill as well as elliptical trainers into my cardio nights. One thing is for sure this week, my hips and knees are sore from the jogging. I'm just not used to the pounding on the joints that jogging incurs. Check back in to see if the variety method works. I still want to lose another 5 pounds at a minimum. Fortunately for me, this upcoming weekend is a 3 day holiday weekend for us Americans (Labor Day). I'll be heading out to the farm in spite of the rain predictions for the entire weekend. For what I'll be doing, a few showers won't slow me down. In fact, I'd prefer the cooler weather for the firewood blocking that I'll be doing for the 3 day. Also, this should be the final racing weekend for my brother for the year. Wish him luck! As for Bat goals, I'm slowly grinding the cash I need to fund myself the class 5 upgrade for my ship. I'm short about 400k now, and I already have the materials and item deposited. So, a few more weeks will do it. I STILL need to get exploring to find the hot coals needed to do the assault ship quest. At this point, I'll pay good money to know where and what item I need, just so I can completethis evil, evil set of quests. I'm pessimissic that I'll ever be able to bribe a party to go and get me the shipbuilding armors so I can do lvl 6 class ships. Damn you Mel! As for knights guild, tried to grind down the old man willow, but party had to quit due to prior commitments just as the mob got to nd so I could try to imprison it. I'll try it again when the planets line up right. I also want to grind bardic might to paltry yet this reinc so I can get arches favour on the next reinc. Sadly, I'm seriously considering a cavalier/knight/bard reinc, again. If I had half-a-brain, I'd go back to loc/tigger, but even that reinc doesn't hold any interest for me yet. At least I'm up to lvl 2 'arr' now. So when will I reinc? Who knows...still have these elusive goals to obtain first. Besides, without a home PC, why go into anything more than a solo reinc anyways?
