With October comes a new fiscal year for work. And with the "new" year comes the projections of my new workload for the coming year. I'm going to be stuck doing 6 to 9 months of Labview (graphical programming language from National Instruments) development and support. Already considering whether to use a gun or a drug overdose to get away from this job. If you aren't familiar with Labview, liken to using a screwdriver to pound in nails. It is possible to do the job using this "language", but it is the wrong tool for the task. Not to mention the fact that I hate even working with it. Probably going to find a new position within the company. Rather take on the unknown than fight with a tight deadline, demotivated help, and shit-ass programming language (mandated by our clueless management, naturally). Shoutout to Anastasia.
