Seems I'll need ACL surgery on my knee.  Doctor drained 40cc of blood from my
knee, which took the swelling down.  Interesting enough, he was able to tell
me it wasn't a fracture, because there was no white fatty lumps in the blood. 
I thought that was pretty cool.  So, visited with my favorite med, lidocaine! 
This was used to numb the knee so the doctor could inject a 4 inch need into
my knee to drain the blood.  The needle wasn't the painful part.  Alas, it was
the quick molten fiery liquid, known as Lidocaine.  Imagine lava being
injected into your body.  I feel it is my need to warn you all of this bastard
drug.  Forget the part that it is 100% effective!  It's the extreme pain which
it produces to accomplish these results.  I personally would like to put my
foot upside the inventor of that drug.  This is my second run in with it and I
do not soon wish for a third.  Consider yourselves warned.  =P
