You tell Nazrix (offline) 'You're right. Plate armour is airtight. That's why
 you can dive in it. I saw a special on medieval deep sea divers, I just
 totally forgot about it until just now. But they had to have specially fitted
 helmets with high pressure glass over they eye slits, which was not standard
 issue. So yes, if you have an air tight helmet with glass over the eye slits,
 I can see how a mosquito would have trouble getting in. Oh..and they had to
 caulk the joints of their armour also, to keep air from seeping out.
