Time to get caught back up on the blog. Took 3 days of vacation last week due to the "end of the fiscal year, burn your vacation or lose it policy" here at work. Spent Wed.and Thur. and Sat. and Sun. blocking firewood for a friend of the family. Trading him the firewood for some work on my tractor later on this winter. Friday I escorted the folks down to CR for the fall antique show. Dropped off at my place to drop off a small table and put together the free futon I received from a friend. So now I can host someone in my spare bedroom! woot! Otherwise, the only things I managed to mix in was an evening of fishing with Mom (caught 1 nice catfish) and church and pizza afterwards with the folks. Called some friends Sun. evening to catch up. Worked on friend's wife to set me up. Really didn't get much help. :( She has someone in mind, but has not been in contact with the person in a year or so. *sigh* Looking more and more like I'll be a single hermit for the remainder of my life. Unfortunately, being on vacation at home ended up putting a couple of pounds on me due to eating too much bad foods. Up to 169 on weigh in for Monday night. Back to the grind it would seem. Currently playing Ar Tonelico on PS2 and enjoying the game a lot. Completely avoiding the start of the fall tv season. Guess I'll be the clueless outcast once again when people start talking about their favorite reality tv shows again. Lame work week so far. Back to doing full time customer support till the first program of the new fiscal year gets going. Asked to be loaned out, but boss won't let me, yet. Let's, see, been PC shopping lately. So far I can't find what I like at a price I like. Once I get a PC and home internet, that will be the kiss of death of me ever finding a gal to marry. Sign me up for losers eternal. Otherwise, found out today that current loc guild is going poof! What the hell am I gonna reinc into now? LI'm going to need some creative thinking, just a loss at the moment. *weep* Today's blog brought to you by "Run to You" Bryan Adams.
