I should keep my big mouth shut. Last entry was how I was a bit bored at
work. Well, now I'm freaking overwhelmed in the last two days here at work,
hence no blogging time. The fat slug of a software lead dumped his entire
workload on me for the next two weeks while he goes on training in Orlando,
Florida. Fucker. Then I find out he's sat around and didn't do anything for
the first 3 weeks of a 6 week project, so now I get to bust my ass to make up
for his lost time. Motherfucker. Tired of dealing with this clown and I'm
not the only one on the team. I held an informal meeting with our team lead
and two of the other guys from the team wanted to lead a coup during the
meeting and put me into his position. I have to watch myself, this is
treading into those deep, dark political waters that I don't want to swim in.
Doesn't help, this guy was specifically brought into the group for his
leadership skills. So far, the only skills this guy excels at is dumping
work, taking long smoke breaks, training in Orlando, and covering his own ass.
Yes, my life is from Dilbert and Office Space. I'm pretty sure it is this
way everywhere. Accept your fate now kiddies, watch Office Space and get
ready for the work reaming every day of your working life.

Other than work being a cesspool of scum and villany, I'm heading back to the
farm this weekend for the continuation of the corn harvest. The first bin is
dried down and cleaned out, so Dad and I will be out in earnest this weekend
to fill it back up again. This should be the final weekend for harvest, as
our farm is only 160 acres in size. Small considering the mega-farm sizes
these days. Looking at another cool weekend again, fall has really struck
hard and early this year. I can't wait to see how colorful the timber should
be getting now. Today's blog was brought to you by Ozzy Osbourne's "Shot in
the Dark". Shoutout to Osku.
