Finally finished playing Ar Tonelico the other night. Fun game, great to pick up for an hour or two in the evening prior to bed time. Loved the in game humor and running plots. Ending was a little weak. Combat, well, it wasn't exactly what you would call challenging. All in all, a sweet little title. Decided to throw in Phantom Brave now. Time for min-maxxing once again. If you've played Disgaea, you know what I'm talking about. Already started sucking me in last night, played an hour longer than was planning...just to make it one more level or try one more thing out. *sigh* In the bad news department, my old friend Pete from back home lost his step son in a car accident on Monday morning. The stepson and 4 other kids in high school were rumored to be drag racing, couldn't stop in time, lost control, and went into the ditch. He died at the scene, the other 4 are in the hospital. So, another funeral attendance date for me coming up soon. Spent last weekend out on the farm once again. Really good November weather. Spent Saturday out in the timber again. Got a section completed, moving further north when I go back out again. Saturday evening folks and I met my brother and his girlfriend for a meal to celebrate my brother's birthday. Sunday, got the farm ready for winter by putting chains on the one tractor, got the snow blower for the tractor moved down the main shed, got the hay and grain tank set-up for the cattle Dad bought and then I went around the fence lines and cleared out the young trees and brush that had come up in the last few years. Sunday evening, celebrated my two nephews' birthdays with my sister before I took off for CR. Just a slow work week. Back to pondering about changing jobs again. Still waffling on home computer. Still no dates. Hello status quo. Tonight's blog brought to you by Prodigy - Voodoo People
