Good slacker weekend. Spent the day on Saturday by hitting the gym in the morning with Don. Then, laundry and dishes in the afternoon and finally hitting evening mass at St. Pius. Afterwards, I called the folks who told me they were coming down to visit and bring down an old recliner of theirs and my X-mas gift, the dump freezer. After the phone call, I decided to finish the last boss battle in Dragon Quest 8. Nice enough game, but I guessed the end plot far too soon and kindof got bored with the storyline as it drug along. Still muchos better than the last FF 12 borefest. Then, got up this morning, folded laundry, waited for folks to show up. Unloaded, sat around and chatted about Mom's upcoming hip replacement surgery. Mom is unhappy with the side-effects due to the surgery. It will end her pain and straighten her back, but she won't be able to do as many things as she used to be able to do, such as cross her legs and bend over without risk of popping out the artifical joint. So, needless to say, she is fairly upset and nervous (and I can tell it is driving Dad nuts hearing about it all the time). After an hour, I took the folks out to lunch. After lunch, they took off to attend my nice's birthday party. Yeah, I skipped, didn't feel like driving 90 min. one way for a small party. Instead, I hit the gym to work off the lunch. Ended up working extra hard while watching the Colts lose to the Chargers in a great game. So, another slow week ahead. Looking forward to next weekend where the folks and I will be attending my brother's racing banquet to watch him receive his track championship plaque and jacket. Oh yeah, back to last week at work. Found out I may have to go to Georgia sometime in the future to help answer customer questions. *puke* Hoping we can talk the customer to coming in house so I won't have to travel. Also, got back in touch with my buddy from college again last week. Had a nice hour long phone call. Tonight's blog brought to you by Mad Season - River of Deceit.
