This golden griffon is called a solar flare because of its appearance: the
mighty beast has shining golden feather that reflect the sunbeams falling on
it, scattering their light like a flare. The feathers turn into a golden mane
on the beast's back, whilst the sides and belly are of duller hues of copper
and auburn. Solar griffons are very proud creatures, difficult to tame and
fierce in nature. They rarely accept a master for themselves, and when
provoked they use their sharp beaks and razor talons to shred their opponents
to bloody pulp.
