Wow, way behind on the times. Summer just flies by for me though. Weekends spent out in the timber and on the farm. The work week, spent, well, doing work. So what has gone on. Flood of the century has come and past. However, the damage is going to take years to clean up and recover from. I managed to wreck my tractor on July 4th weekend. I drove over a pushed over tree, and it popped up and hit the fuel injector block and broke the fuel line and the steering pump housing. Just got the tractor back last weekend. So, I have been fishing and working on blocking up wood that I had hauled out for my tractor repair guy and my brother. Blackberry season is just about past now. Another good crop year. Dad and I went out for a Sat. morning and got 7 full quarts of the berries. I went out again last weekend and pick over a quart of red raspberries for Mom for a pie. Moderate temps so far this summer. We've only had one day that managed to crack the 90 degree barrier. I have not had to turn on the air conditioner yet. Although, I certainly could have. *
