Well, since I'm once again almost a month behind on the blog entry and I'm sitting here bleary eyed at work, time for another entry. Busy past few weeks with the job. Nothing new here. Most weekends are either working with firewood, gone fishing, naps, or a combination of all of the above. I am beginning to plot my next reinc now that the lords of chaos guild is now officially frozen out from any new reinc in and a promised freebie reinc on the horizon. Sad times man, sad times. Right now, leaning towards bard/aelena, I mean, how bad can I possibly suck. I figure it will rank right down there with my merchie/knight reinc. Main goal, get past that shitty melody of the misadventurer kbh. I have two weeks of vacation coming up at the start of September. So far, no plans. Thinking of repainting the kitchen since for some reason the ceiling paint is cracking and bubbling in a few places. Well, that and Mom hates the off-shade of yellow they used and wants it gone. It has been a very mild summer. Only a day or 2 in July that even came close to breaking 90 degrees. I've had to run the AC only one evening for two hours since it was about 87 in the house that night when I got home. I am already wearing a light jacket on my walks into work in the morning and it is the middle of freaking August!?! Not complaing about the current weather, but it worries about how bad the winter might be. Well, one complaint, the damn grass keeps growing in my yard and I have to keep mowing it. 8( Since last blog post, finished up Makai Kingdom. Twas an ok game, with great humor but weak storyline. I felt the combat was a little weaker than Disgaea, the maps were very weak (most felt like fillers to make the game longer than it was), and I was just glad to be done with the game so I could move on to something else. Decided to go with Atelier Iris 1, and I'm enjoying it much more than Makai. It has the Ar Tonelico feel to it, and then I realized that Atelier was produced a few years earlier by the same company that did Ar Tonelico. So, that was a pleasant surprise. Sigh, time to get back to the grind. Today's blog brought to you by Krokus - Screaming in the Night.
