Finally feeling better after 2 trips to the hospital for bronchitis, then
broncheal spasms. It's been hard few weeks, been so sluggish. I took 3 day off
from work, ended up sleeping and mudding. I felt like such a slacker, but it
sucks to have constant breathing problems. I sympathize more with people who
have to deal with this ongoing. I hope I can kick it all soon. I'm on some
pretty serious meds, making me a bit loopy.

Updates on life:

Drawing class: going ok. I'm forcing myself to do the pencil drawing, rather
than my preferred charcoal. I'm starting to feel more comfortable, but the
dynamic of the class is only mediocre. I want their to be more critques on
composition and style, but most people are silent. The one outspoken person I
find rather annoying and his comments very mechanical, but he wants realistic
drawings and I want interesting drawings, an ideals clash.

Photography: awesome, developing is so much fun. I just need more time... to
take pics and to fiddle in the darkroom. It has encouraged me to set up my art
room better so I can hang some works/in-progress.

Gym/Karate: Need to get back into things, I am dying for a good workout, but
it's hard when even small physical activity incapacitates me. This will
correct itself soon, I hope. Garth (kitten): adorable, hyper, spastic. I took
him to the vet today she used lots of terms like spunky and sassy and going to
be very independent probably. I think she was trying to put it nicely that he
is going to be a handful. :) I love having him, it's nice to come home to a
pounce and run around the house.

Reading: Just started Democracy in America by Alexis de Toqueville. It was
written in the early part of the century. I've been feeling some political
urges, signed up for the online Dean2004 campaign (USA). I'm trying to do a
chapter a night, though it already has some kitten bite marks on the cover.
Very good read.

Work: Got and installed Panther. WOOOOO!
