Word of Slaughter is always better than Word of Blasting if you have about 100
races of the target in spite list, however, Blasting always damages the
targets regardless of race

Word of Genocide and Word of Apocalypse, albeit greater in cost, deal much
more damage than the previously mentioned basic blasts, futhermore they damage
multiple targets and is often more cost effective to use these spells instead
of targeting single mobs.

Then there is Word of Oblivion which truely is the ultimate damage spell.
People are well advised to not even considering using it with poor sp
regeneration or with spellmax lower than 1000. With right conditions met
,however, and based on my personal experiences regarding this spell it's
spellcost can be lowered to ~270 with good prayer to destruction and reaver
quests. Now combined with wis over 270 the single appliance of the spell can
damage 100k monsters anywhere from 5% to 20% of their total health. That
damage is tremenderously more than what you could ever hope to achieve with
Words of Blastings and Slaughters.

Furthermore you will save spellpoints by staying in combat for a very little
time, receive less damage and having to heal less.

Downsides of nearly all reaver blasts are that they won't do a squat if the
enemy has high magical resistance.

Finally there are two special spells, Word of Spite and Black hole. Spite is
quite cost effective as it deals anywhere from 50 to 200 damage and usually
cost less than 30 spellpoints, but enemy that resists psionic and/or magical
damage will merely laugh at you. Black Hole is the and only true area blast
that evil religious background has and it compares on par with mage area
blasts in magnitude, it deals combination of physical and asphyx damage but
has the downside of eating about 0.5% of your destruction by each use.
