I am interested in the BERSERKR legend. The myth that Vikingr used to drink fly agaric mushroom juice and would go berserk and attack their own soldiers and/or the soldiers of the enemy. They would ransack, burn, steal, loot, rape, etc. etc. It is interesting. I think there were real Vikingr in the Abo Archipelago, in the Rosala/Hitis islands HUNDREDS of years ago, before they became Christianised. I bought a rune ring from them, it reads RODEBORG on it, it looks like RODIBORY when written in runes. I have misplaced the ring, and I have misplaced the other ring my little brother bought, he doesn't want it. Hmm... So I wonder if there have been any berserkr in the Finnish archipelago ever? Did they find mushrooms there, did they drink mead? Who knows? I want to ask that Paula Wilson woman. She says there are Gothic loanwords in our Finnish language and that we are an East Germanic race of people. The Finn-Swedes, even they are rightwing liberals, they still talk about Aryans and consider the Germanic race superior to other races. Hmm. Interesting group of people, those Archipelago Swedes etc. But you know, usually they just row boats there, fish there, they talk Swedish and Finnish and they work, work and work. They don't cause any trouble to anybody. They might drink a lot of alcohol on the Juhannus Midsummer night, it is Ukko's day. I wonder if it is Odin's day too, they have a juhannussalko, a pole with ornaments on it, in the countryside. And they sing in Swedish and the children dance around the pole, it is very much like a Christmas tree. I think that must be some funny Nordic Swedish culture. Sounds strange to me. Us Finns, we burn the juhannuskokko, the Midsummer Night Fire. We drink alcohol and we used to have a lot of magic on Ukko day (The Sky God Ukko), magic to get married etc. But you know... I am NOT looking forward to getting married and I do NOT want children. So... But I still like women, I like women the age of 21-35.
