More console game days to the library please! We had one today and it was
EXTREMELY fun, especially because I had the whole day time to play...When I
was not giving interviews :D Before the library was open we already started
playing Guitar Hero, Buzz and Wii Fit with 2 of my colleagues. After opening I
was playing Guitar Hero with an elementary school boy, who didn't know
Metallica's Enter Sandman :( And he was so pro that he was playing guitar (I
had bass) and all the time he wanted to give me advice :D During the day I
also tried ski jumping, hula hula and Mario Kart (Wii) and Buzz (PS3). There
were more than 100 players during 3 hours and it was so crowded and great! And
I wonder, when is going to be the day when 1) games are not seen only as
violent shooting games and 2) libraries are going to start to borrow games. (I
guess we need a generational change in the media and libraries before that...)
