So, I just got my raise information (3.9%) for the next calendar year.  I
can't decide if I should be ecstatic or depressed.  Considering inflation, I
barely got anything for a raise.  On the flip side, the max I heard our
department was allowed to give was 4%.  So, I guess I did as good as I could
do for this department.  Although I'm still a bit miffed that I was ranked in
the middle of the group.  Considering right now I'm the "software lead" for
the JSF project, I thought I would have been ranked a bit higher.  So, I'm
demotivated for the rest of the day today.  On top of this news, I found out
earlier today that I get to work over Xmas break officially, and may even have
to work 3rd shift over the break to work around production.  I just feel so
tired.  In the next three weeks I have to give another presentation for the
software plans for JSF, work on the weekends and 3rd shift and Xmas break for
the F-22 project, and I'm ranked "average" in my group.  whatever.  Shoutout
