I love paastrami. I adore a good pastrami grinder, though let me tell you good
ones are very hard to find. There are lots of bad pastrami "sandwiches, subs,
and grinders made by imbeciles. A good pastrami sub is to die for, I've only
found 2 places that make good ones. I'm very fortunate one of those is quite
close to where I now live. I think the people doing it have to be greek,
though all greek grinders are not good either.

But what the fuck is pastrami? I don't even know what animal it comes from! I
don't think it's one of those faux meats, like bologna, that rightly should
not even exist. I would guess it's cured and spiced.. but the hell hell am I
eating? is it pig? Criminy, now it's bugging me that I don't know what it is,
I've always taken it for granted.
