There was a language barrier, that is why the Tavastian-Karelian religion that has some bits of it left in Kalevala was different from the Indo-European religions, including Germanic and Scandinavian Heathenry (Paganism). The IE religion has 2 main branches left: Zoroastrianism and Hinduism, and the latter of them, Hinduism is a Dharmic religion as is Buddhism. In Hinduism there is something called "karma". Interestingly enough the other countries, that are not "Dharmic" have an "Abrahamic" religion: Judaism, Christianity and/or Islam. I would say something Dharmic is in Zoroastrianism.
