I've been intrigued by sidewalk art and murals that are integrated into their environment (sides of buildings, etc). I know that a lot of graffiti art (most?) are just gang tags or graffiti tags. But there are instances of more than just tags. (For example I read about some guys who did work in the tunnels and sewers under NYC, these would basically only be seen by the homeless living down there or people who caught glances through grates. These were more than just tag work. - ref. The Mole People, can't think of author) And then there is the work that is essentially fleeting in nature. I would love to be good enough and have the courage to do shit like that. Not that I would try to do 3-d stuff, but just that kind of temporary art for the enjoyment of random strangers. This guy is so talented, I'm in awe. http://www.snopes.com/photos/arts/sidewalk.asp http://www.kurtwenner.com/
