The place name "Halikko" is possibly from a Germanic word "Halicho". The Germanic people were Semitic Saxons. I do not claim that Halikko has Saxons in it - I claim that the Germans were Saxons, and the Saxons were Iranic Semitic Sacae/Sakae/Saxae/Saxi/Saxons. I would say that Halikko probably had some farmers in it. Until the 1960's. It has a psychiatric hospital there as well, in Märynummi, the Halikko Hospital. It was known as Halikon Piirimielisairaala earlier, but later as Halikon Sairaala. There are some refugees next to the hospital building as well, in other buildings that used to belong to the hospital. The refugee center is owned by Suomen Punainen Risti, nigöös.
