So I finally managed to get no reincarnation done today. First up, let's go over some statistics. Last reinc: Apr 18 2010 Levels: 292619233 (74.29654%) Total of 52575929 (13.3491%) experience spent on character's spells. Total of 41822951 (10.6189%) experience spent on character's skills. Total of 393853013 experience spent on character. Experience lost this reinc: 7011485 Lich stats: str 7, dex 9, con 11, int 20, wis 23 Niele Curaa the valiant, Templar squire 83% Way of the Tarmalen So about 10 years and 400m worth exp. Nice! Next, I'd like to go over why I did no reincarnation and why I chose to do it as a lich tarmalen/druid. I wanted to rebirth out of no particular reason and wanted to try something I'd never have even considered before, and that was the whole no reinc thing. I heard that paladins guild was coming back (... and it turned out to be liberators!) and I had this vision of making a lich-paladin-healer who goes around dispensing justice and stuff. Of course, my bubble bursted when I was something like 40 level and Liberators release and they don't even allow liches joining. I wish someone had told me in advance that we'd get a guild in the Bat that doesn't allow the race I picked in rebirth to join! On another note, I was very tired of the hobbit bard-sabre I had going on before birth and I didn't really like my pre-rebirth name, so it was an easy way to change name without suiciding (pretty sure that wasn't even an option back then either anymore! I've deleted once before!) so there was that. The only gear I had before I rebirthed was spider sabres and some dex gear (I had been robbed like a few months prior.. or atleast someone had cleared my room) so I didn't really have anything to 'lose' by rebirthing! Not even names on the eq. :) Rebirthing as an experience was certainly worth it. I got to meet many different people, so I might as well spend this time to throw out some names and love: - Broetchen and Descad for letting me join your parties for exp! And company! Their company is great! - Thanks to Hair over the years for everything, exp, loans, advice.. everything. :D - Thanks Gorehound for being grumpy-cat and pulling me to Bat once more! - Lotheac, thanks for all the amusing moments in the parties we've had! - Lysander, for being Lysander! - Voronoi you old champ for the exping we used to do and other stuff! - Pasigula for being my favorite merchant ever (where is he these days?!) - Zerks for being newbie-friendly when I was of inquisitive mind - Thanks Kohothegreat for helping me get some wis/spr gear, it really, really helped a lot! - Thanks Consta for letting me buy a room in your city! Stuff stays safe - The people at legion+ for all those dice parties. Really helped me get some decent gear - And all the other people I've had the pleasure of spending over the decade! I'll post about my experiences later on, maybe.
