I am very unhappy with how so-called developers and maintainers treat their software users. The MXLinux packages "firefox/mx" and "firefox-esr" both have a text in the settings that the "Settings are maintained by the organisation" and when I was able to at first set the default character encoding of the Mozilla Firefox browser away from the Latin charset to UTF8, then it happened that the system changed it back to Windows-2525 or some such Latin and did not let me change it back. So I actually removed and reinstalled the firefox browser packages, including the Finnish language back many times and still I could not use UTF8 while viewing the source code of my homepage - http://pamipetteri.epizy.com - so I actually removed Firefox from my system and am now trying to manage with Google Chrome. That is not the only piece of software I am unhappy with - I have noticed that the so-called "Facebook" social media site has gone down the toilet and is now swimming in turds and urine figuratively speaking - so to speak - and I am now trying to avoid FIREFOX and FACEBOOK. The third piece of software and service I was unhappy with is actually the so-called "Internet Relay Chat" and how it interacted with my IRC client HexChat, that I decided to remove because I wanted to remove myself from the FreeNode platform. I have actually nothing to say to people on any Internet Relay Chat networks. I am sticking to my homepage http://pamipetteri.epizy.com and BatMUD and am trying to find new, innovative ways to interact via my system setup - I use GNU/Linux. I am interested in both online and offline activities. The Internet has been a two-edged sword since I started to use it in the 1990's, perhaps in 1995 or so, maybe even 1994 and I feel I am hooked on the excitement of interacting with unpredictable pieces of data on the net. I never give money to anything or anyone who is online or on the net or in the net. I do not play casino games, and am not interested in the newest video games. I am an "oldies are goldies"-man, and stick to my Quake 2, BatMUD and Leisure Suit Larry games.
