This is my first blog, and drunk from drinking pixie-ale too:) I started out
my adventure in BatMUD as a young and energetic elf, choosing the guild of
Mages. After playing until my character was level 17 i gradually forgot about
the world of the Bats. It wasn't until five months later where I remembered
this game once again. I was forced into a reincarnation, and I chose the
centaur race, and became a brown centaur. I joined the ranger guild soon after
and worked my way to about 5 million experience. Vatsyayana was a good friend
who helped me reach that point. Within this time I bought a room from Midian
soon for a cheap price. During this reinc I felt that my needs were elsewhere,
and a nomad was beginning to bore me, so I reincarnated into a tarmalen member
when I was level 33. I chose the race Duck for I had advice from many people
who were experienced in the game. After playing for two weeks I found out the
true speed of gaining experience in the game. I gained 5 million from
exploring and ressing people and reached a level of 42. As I was watching
television one day, I felt a clinging for monster slaying that I have not
endured for 2 weeks of being a calm and peaceful healer. It was time for
action. I chose to reincarnate into a monk and tarmalen mix, which was again
advised by higher experienced players and friends: Rere, Fenster, Alucard, and
many more whom I cannot remember. I decided to take it to my limit during this
reinc by leveling to 50, where afterwards I can start training the levels
partially. I was a human, and decided to take as many tarmalen levels as it
was needed to get the spell "Cure Serious Wounds" to 80%. I focused the rest
of my time and experience into the Monk guild, otherwise known as the Warrior
Guild. However, time did not forgive me. I was given another incline. I took
my 4th reincarnation back into the ranger guild, taking the ogre race. I had
11 million experiences during that time, and as I began to regain my
experience back, I was given the chance to take 3 free reincarnations. I
wasted my very first, taking tarmalen guild. By doing that I checked the
change in the cost of skills and spells, and took my 2nd free reincarnation
into the merchant and bard guilds. This was a test, to see whether these two
guilds were at all too complex, and I found that they both were difficult to
complete. However I chose to go to merchant guild in the end and that was my
choice for the 3rd and final free reincarnation, using the dwarf race. I
completed that guild, and gained much money in just 3 days, making chests,
doing surgeries and mining for Nyriori, a sort-of employer of mine. I bought 2
guards for my city and made my first made chest, which was the 5th of my
collections. Just then, I was given 2 more free reincarnations for there were
more tunes with the training of status points above level 30. My first free
reincarnation turned out into a bug, and I had to take the 2nd one as quickly
as possible. However, I was very disappointed with that reincarnation and had
to take another reincarnation, and this time it was not f ree. I lost 600k of
experiences from the reincarnation, which could have been lots more If I had
taken "safe" instead of "normal". From then, I've decided to settle down for 1
month, and now I am doing just that. I am a level 50 catfolk, who has 15
levels of merchant and 20 levels of alchemists. I decided to do a bit of
alchemists for the reason that a friend named Isundil has told me about the
wonderful world of potion making, which was to give me experience for every
new potion made. I took the bite and am still here. It is winter in BatMUD so
no herbs can be collected, but I have collected 10 hearts and some vanadium,
waiting for that hardened snow to rust away and the awakening of the herbs and
my chance for potion mastery. Also, now, I have had another incline, this time
not to join another reincarnation but to join HCBat - hardcore Bat. New
excitement awaits me, and I welcome it.
