A nasty smelling swamp is what you find yourself standing in.  The horrible
mud and water reach up to your chest and make your clothes cling to you like
clammy seaweed.  Anything might be lurking in this foul area.
The swamp continues in every direction.
A slime-covered ladder leads up onto a small plateau.
Above you is a hot, slowly moving, clear sky. A breeze blows around you. The
still water below you would be up to your hips.
Obvious exits are: n, e, s, w and u.
