I slept at my fiancee last night. She is a Lutheran. We have both had touch
with the Pentecostal church when we were younger, but I think church and state
should be separate. The government should not meddle with religion, and the
religion should not meddle with the government. I am also a Lutheran. We live
in Finland. I am engaged to be married to my fiancee, and she said we could
get married 10 years later (from now). She also said we do not necessarily
need to wed each other, we could remain engaged to be married as long as we
live. The Finnish Lutheran Folk Church is quite allowing and liberal, but we
read the Bible with my fiancee. I read it aloud to her. I found out if a wife
has slept around, the man can divorce. Nowadays when we have equality of the
sexes and we have non-binary genders too, I would say if a spouse has slept
around, the other spouse can divorce.

My fiancee said her ex was not faithful. He remarried. I think my fiancee and
I have the right to be engaged to be married, and to be married about 10 years
from now.

I watched the National Geographic TV channel this morning, and I also put some
settings in place in my TV so that the picture shows correctly with my
computer, for example when I use the GNOME desktop environment.

I log in to BatMUD to see what's happening and to see if I have the motivation
to play it. It has changed from the 1990's, when I started playing it. The
first time I logged in the address was bat.cs.hut.fi and it could be accessed
with telnet and rlogin. When I used BatMUD from Cute Communications I often
used rlogin -8 to get 8-bit extension to ASCII so the Scandinavian (umlauted)
letters were shown correctly. Merry Christmas, Happy Yuletide and a Good New

bit in the 1980's when I think of computers, but it is OK.
