The sacrifice pit.
You are standing knee-deep in blood.  Around you is the sacrificial pit which
you so foolishly descended into.  There are mutilated bodies floating in the
rivers of blood, and there are large amounts of slime mixed in with the blood.
 A horrible pungent aroma assaults your nostrils, and you can barely see
through the surrounding darkness.
